This Loyal Dog Walked Nearly 20 Blocks To Visit Her Owner In The Hospital

KCRG reported she’s currently at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, recovering from complications after cancer-related surgery.

And this is her husband Dale, who took her dog Sissy and her brother Barney out from a walk at around 1.30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Only for Sissy to vanish.

“I thought they both came back in the house. I was panicking. (Sissy’s) my baby. I’m sorry,” he told KWWL.

And where was Sissy?

Well, she’d gone to visit her mamma in hospital, of course.

Yup, Dale looked for her for several hours, but it was only after four hours he found out where she was, after he got a call from the medical centre.

It’s apparently the first time she’s ever done this

Dale told ABC: “She was on a mission that night to see her mom, but she couldn’t find the right elevator to take.”

Fortunately for Sissy, when Dale arrived the security officer eventually let them up to see Nancy.

KWWL reported that Nancy is hoping to be released from Mercy soon. Just a guess, but this is going to be one heck of a spoiled dog.
