A crane will be brought in to lift Britain’s fattest woman back IN to her home when she is released from hospital.
Sixty-stone Georgia Davis, 22, was lifted out of her home by crane and into a reinforced ambulance last week when she needed treatment for a severe infection caused by water retention.
Her friends said she is doing well but will need another large-scale lifting operation to get her back into her specially adapted flat.
One of her pals said today: “Georgia is not mobile enough to walk out of the ambulance and into her home even though it’s less than 20 yards.
“It looks like she will have to go through the whole thing again when she’s let out.”

Two cranes, seven police cars, two fire engines and 11 medics were called in to lift bedridden Georgia from her flat in Cwmaman, Aberdare, South Wales, at a cost put at £10,000.
A main road was closed for the seven-hour “patient lift” which was delayed when firemen had to send for a stronger crane.
Her friend, who lives in the village but did not want to be named, said: “She is doing well but will be in hospital for a couple of weeks.
“They are looking at all her health problems and they want her on a special diet.
“But that has been tried before and it never works with Georgia.”

Neighbours have nicknamed Georgia the “Takeaway Princess” because she lives on vast quantities of pizza, kebabs and McDonalds.
Her calorie intake is estimated at 13,000-a-day and she has been obese since the age of five.
Georgia’s ground floor flat is the only one in the block that has French windows - they were installed so she could be taken out in an emergency.
Friends say Georgia tells doctors and health visitors she lives on low-calorie salads but as soon as they have gone she is tucking into greasy takeaways.
Georgia’s regular order at a local takeaway came to £19 a night - for a meal for one.

She used her home computer to order her favourite meal of pizzas and chips using the online service at the Turkish Kebab and Pizza takeaway a mile away in Aberdare.
Restaurant worker Cerys Collins, said: “Georgia’s regular meal would come to £19, which is a lot for just one person.
“She would order using our Just Eat website maybe two or three times a week.
“She would order pizzas and other things too - and always with chips.”
