I was having a chat with some buddies of mine and the Electricity issue in the country come up. The first guy said why will an organisation bill you for services not rendered and get the backing of the government to legally charfe you to pay? The second guy asked why will he even pay when ia meter has not not read up to ten units and he has to pay a fixed charge higher than his electricity consumption. I now said well its not an issue that is not known by the piwers that be ,but it will not be debated because we did not take it to who is responsible to make the call.
The third guy now said its our fault. We all stared at him like, wtf!
He then explained" we people love to push the bulk and move on, forgetting that an issue will not just go away. He are being cheated from the ward level by councelors to stateHouse of assembly memebers,chairmen,senetors,reps, etc. We allow this and because we allow it,it prevails" he said. He added " if we stood as one and knew what we wanted and pressed for it Nigeria would be better for it. But as we talk we are pushing the bulk and prolonging the evil days. He said "Nigeria is now every man for himself no to stand for all.
